My first beat was technology, and it’s something I still love to cover. Assign me a story about cloud, IT security, martech, healthtech, edtech, fintech, IoT or IT services and I am a happy camper! Need to understand how technology affects the public sector? That’s what I covered as an editorial director at New America’s Public Interest Technology practice.

I also write about health, personal finance, business, human resources, and lifestyle issues. I’m a prolific ghostwriter, handling columns and scripts for some of the top C-level employees and academics in the world. 

When I’m not writing or editing, I spend my time with my family. I am the spontaneous mom, going on adventures whenever I can. (I used to be the NaturalAsPossibleMom.com, but my website was hacked and life keeps getting in the way of bringing that back.)

I am pretty active, walking my two dogs daily and going to reformer pilates. I took up volleyball and pickleball during the pandemic, too. I love to read, of course. I’m re-learning Spanish and will play any board game with you. Just ask!
